Why should I consider the travel delay benefit as part my insurance plan?

Trip delay coverage can be an important part of your travel insurance plan because it can help reimburse you for additional expenses that result from a delay. For example, if your flight is delayed and you need to pay for a hotel room, meals, or other expenses as a result, trip delay coverage can help cover those costs.

  • Delays are common: Flights are often subject to delays due to a variety of factors, including bad weather, mechanical issues, and air traffic control problems.
  • Delays can be costly: If you're delayed for an extended period, the additional expenses can add up quickly. Trip delay coverage can help mitigate those costs.
  • Delays can ruin your trip: If you're delayed for an extended period, it could potentially ruin your trip. Trip delay coverage can help reimburse you for any prepaid, non-refundable expenses if you need to cancel your trip because of a delay.

Trip delay coverage can provide peace of mind and financial protection if your trip is delayed.
